The team at QRX Technology Group is continuing to monitor the fast-moving events presented as a result of the Coronavirus. During this time of heightened concern and uncertainty, we have implemented a work-from-home policy for all employees to eliminate the need for travel to and from the office and help minimize the need for travel outside the home.
We remain open for business and do our best to continue to support our customer during this time. We are actively monitoring the information provided by the Provincial and Federal governments and public health officials to ensure we are making informed decisions and taking the necessary steps to keep our employees and communities safe.
By all of us working together and supporting one another, we will get through this. To you, your family and your team, please stay safe.
Every year far too many used printer cartridges enter the waste stream in North America. A typical laser cartridge consists of 2.5 pounds of plastic and requires approximately 3 liters of oil to produce. It is a sobering fact that the plastics used in these toner cartridges can take up to 1,000 years to decompose.
It is for this reason that QRX is proud to offer a National Recycling Program for inkjet and laser toner cartridges at no cost to our customers.
The remanufacturing of recycled cartridges uses 80% less energy than manufacturing new plastics, and for every recycled cartridge put back into use we prevent approximately 3.5 pounds of solid waste from ending up in landfills.
Our program collects reusable materials and recycles them to produce premium quality replacement products.
We urge all organizations to join with us and take part in our state of the art National Recycling Program. It costs nothing to participate and does a world of good.
